  • I am an die hard democrat, but Nancy Regan. I love Michelle Obama. I really think healthy children is the key to our future.

  • There are several in my opinion, each championing a different, but equally important cause/focus. Those whom I think were the most influential (in recent history) were Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, Betty Ford, Barbara Bush, Hilary Clinton, and Laura Bush.

  • Eleanor...she made First Lady a job title, not just a 4 year hostess gig.

  • I think the first ladies of the latter part of the 20th century were far more visible and each had a passion and were able to create an agenda and a public awareness of their "cause". Personally, I favor Laura Bush.
