Can any of you reccomend a great book or magazine to get for a new mother?

  • I definitely agree with the "What to Expect..." books! "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" is really great, too. Parents, American Baby, and Redbook magazines are good, too. Redbook has some helpful "mommy" tips sometimes, but it's not JUST babies, babies, babies lol.

  • "Parenting: Early Years" is pretty good. The "What to Expect" books aren't too bad.

  • I like the Parents Magazine. A bonus is they usually have some coupons in them. I like the "what to expect" books as well.

  • If she's expecting, What to expect when you are expecting, that book is awsome.
    If she has a baby I love the magazine like parents, american baby and another one that forgot the name lol.

  • Our friends got us a subscription to the Parents magazine, and we have ended up subscribing to it ourselves. It has some great articles, hints, and recipes for kids.
