What kind of beans and vegetables do you put in your chili?

I usually only put red kidney beans, green peppers and mushrooms.

  • I chop up carrots, red and green peppers, onions, mushrooms and broccoili. I hide veggies in everything, my DH dosent like to eat them by themselves. We have 5 beans- pinto, black, red kidney, chickpea and white kidney beans.

  • For my normal hamburger chili, I use red kidney beans, bell peppers, onions, jalapeno, tomatoes. When I make my white white chili, then I use white kidney beans, ortega chilis, onions, and jalapenos in a chicken stock instead of a tomato base.

  • I use shelled beans... b/c they are not so farty, ground beef, turkey or venison, green pepper and onions, chili sauce and spices.... topped with cheese when served... so yummy.... now I know what I am making this week!! LOL ;o)
