7month old....

I know every baby is different, but when did everyones kids start to crawl?? My 7 month old can crawl backwards but not forwards... I'm not worried, just curious.

  • Crawling backwards is easier - which is why it is very, VERY common for babies to do it first. My mom still teases me that I would get so angry when what I was trying to crawl towards kept getting further and further away.

    He'll figure it out.

  • my son did the same thing, he finally started crawling when he was about 8 and a half months old, a week later he was standing up. at 9 and a half months old he was walking all by himself. my son use to move around on his back, we called it the crab walk.

  • my daughter learned to walk (all by herself) with 13 1/2 months, after she knew how to walk she started to crawl.
