  • Its normal I had it around 8 months with my second sperm has a hormone in it that can induce contrctions. Also If you climax you uterus contracts anyway and can induce contraction mostly braxton hicks contractions.

  • I would check with a doctor since u r only 26 weeks. Give the doctor a call tomorrow. Sometimes,if sex brings on contractions this early, they will tell u not to have sex till after u have the babies.

  • Sexual relations (of all sorts) releases hormones. Oxytocin is released and it's involved with contractions / labor. So it's normal for women to have contractions after (during) sex, but they should go away. If they don't then the body might have been pushed over the edge into possible (early /preterm) labor.

Moms at-risk for PTL are often on "pelvic rest" ( a term to cover the many forms of sex).

Are you finding the contractions go away shortly after?

  • normal! I am only 28 weeks with my 5th, and I will have slight contractions, and a mucus discaharge which is an increase i hormones (not your mucus plug) Remember a mucus plug is excssive mucus discharge, either yellowish or tinged with blood! GL!
