  • ooh i just had one of my doula clients fill me in on this one! take a plain brown paper bag, tear it open, turn iron on low, place bag over candle wax, iron over bag, it should soften wax enough to pull it up.

  • Grab a towel and an iron, lay the towel on the wax and iron the towel. the towel should soak up the wax

  • i've always heard to lay a paper towel over the wax, iron it a few times with the iron on low, then switch places on the paper towel so that you're not putting the wax back into the carpet. i've tried this and it works.

  • BE SURE THAT YOUR CARPET CAN TAKE THE HEAT! Many can't. You can do the iron method or ice cube and knife. Depends on how deep the wax is and if it doesn't just melt into the carpet.

  • you can also get this cleaner from rug doctor... it is MADE for wax. just spray it on the floor and let it set, and then use any carpet cleaner... it comes right up. works for gum too
