  • Took her pull ups off. Let her run around the house naked for a day. She learned to go to the potty quickly. But she was also older. 3 1/2. She was just being lazy. She knew to go to the potty but for some reason wanted to stay a "baby".

  • Take your little one to Wal-Mart, Target, Toys-R-Us. Buy a set of some toy (s)he really wants. Break it into smaller pieces and then give it back every time there is a successful trip to the potty. Make sure you have about 2 weeks of stuff. At the end, you will be on the side of "accidents" more than wet pants.

  • real undies no pull up! He also used to hide when he had to go so I would have to keep an eye on him! It was messy for awhile, but they do sell the undies that are heavier at least in babies r us. I really sometimes think the pull ups are confusing for the child.

  • Well the first time we sat with our DD for like 2 hours until she went! we gave her some chips & a book(s) & she sat there & went & was so happy. We left it out for her so she could see it, kept reminding her, took off her diaper & put undies on her and slowly but surely she got it. and then started going on the "big toilet" with her seat. Try not to stress abut it, it will happen. GL.

  • Honestly, you set them up, show them, when they are ready, they'll do it.
