Are UTI's a normal occurence during any stage of pregnancy?

Just wanted to know..

  • i had a uti and kidney infection(to seperate occ. i know a uti goes to bladder then kidney...) and i was told its bc when your pregnant your immune system is way down i have since had an ear infection and sinus infection so i think its best to try to stay away from sick people wash your hands and eat frits, good luck hope you dont get anymore they suck!

  • I think UTI"s are easier to get during pregnancy and if you think you got a uti then I would call your ob tomorrow.

  • Yes I think they are. Yeast infections are pretty common too.

  • for mine it was, had one the whole time i was pregnant, both kidney's too and stints put in. but mine was realllllllyyyyyyyyy bad!

  • I've only had two UTI's. One during the first trimester of each of my pregnancies. I don't know if there is a correlation, but....
