What is your least favorite phrase/expression/word, etc?

There are no words to describe how much I LOATHE the expression "make love." I have no idea why I hate it so much, but I always have. Hearing it makes me sick, and I always involuntarily roll my eyes and gag a little.

  • I hate to hear "why" after everything I tell my 11 yo to do. Ugh, just do it already! Another is "whatever" from the same age group of girls (my kids know better, but I hear it a lot in our troop and it drives me mad).

  • I agree with a lot of these - then I thought of my husband and I HATE when he says = I don't care what ever you want.

  • Conversate.

Not a word. My husband uses it all the time. I know part of it is because he knows how much it irks me...but it doesn't help.
