  • She smiled a lot. :-) And if I were Laura,I would have been on tranquilizers or "happy pills" to stand being married to her puppet ,jacka$$ husband. She was way smarter that he was.

  • Her pet programs involved children mostly. She was big on literacy and was often out reading to children as part of her duties. She and President Bush were also interested in helping the people of Africa. Aid for African causes tripled during his Presidency. The PEPFAR program was a huge help in getting the knowledge out about Aids/HIV. She was very into Family assistance while GB handled the security issues

  • She was a big champion of women's rights around the world. You can research her work. It is a shame the press never bothered to talk about some of it.

  • I wish she would HAVE SPOKE OUT like she did AFTER she left the WH.

But while there she did many literacy programs, she was a librarian and that is her passion
