Should the President be able to shut down the internet?

I really see the general point here because cyber attacks have evolved greatly but I don't trust our government enough to want this bill passed.

  • No, he shouldn't. I understand blocking incoming traffic from certain countries if there is an emergency. But to shut down the whole Internet would be detrimental! The whole country would be in uproar!

  • You are so funny gertie. :P
I did not specify any President even though it is Obama who would be given the power for the reason it would not matter who the president was in my views.
