Slightly annoyed!

A "friend" of mine had a birthday party for her son yesterday, i ended up not going. She doesn't talk to me at ALL (lets say for about a good 8 months) then all of the sudden she wants to invite me to her sons birthday party. I feel she only invited us to get gifts for her son. What would you have done in that situation? would you have gone to the party or no?

  • She might have just been really busy but still prizes you as a dear friend. The best friends can go a long time without talking and still know they are friends...and when they see each other just pick up where they left off. I think parties are a great way to re-connect with friends that you haven't seen in a long time.
