If you had to give a PROPER definition ....

.... for the term "Christian" what would it be? (Write as though your definition is going into the dictionary).

  • Someone who believes in Jesus as the Messiah. The word "Christ" comes from the Greek "Christos" meaning "anointed one", generally thought to be the Hebrew definition of the Messiah. If you believe Jesus was this Messiah, this "Christos", then you're a CHRISTian. Hence the name.
