Do you find the computer addicting?

My husband is out of town alot and my kids are on their own... I have so many things I do on the computer right now... from banking, reading news, building websites, answering questions here, and several other forums... Plus I am on the computer all day at work...

  • yes I'd rather talk to friend's and family on here than on the phone. I know it's rude and I try not too but it's faster and I get to message everyone in one day.

  • My lunches are supposed to be a half an hour. I take an hour and a half every day because I just get caught on it. SDo I say yes.

  • lol melody77... I agree! I do online classes, but I can't lie-- I spend WAY more time on CafeMom, MySpace, and Facebook than I do on my schoolwork! It's very addicting.

  • YES! I'm often awake at weird hours. Nobody cares if I e-mail them at 3 a.m., but they sure would be ticked if I called them at that time! If I had to do everything during usual business hours, I could never get half of the things I do on the computer late at night done, like shopping, renewing library books and looking up information. It also gives me control over what news I'm exposed to, what people I talk to, etc. Honestly, I feel a little panicky when I think about not having a computer.
