Nickname Suggestions :)

I'm naming my daughter Emilia Vivian, but my husband and I are torn between three nicknames. Which do you prefer: Mia, Ella, or Evie?

Thank you kindly in advance!

  • I like all three! I think I like Evie the best though!

  • Uh...I like the first 2: Mia and Ella.

I am leaning more on the Ella side of things...

  • I like Mia... there are enough Ella's out there already.
I know an Amelia that goes by Mimi which is also cute
You could also call her Leah (Lia) or Emmy

  • I would wait and see what happens naturally. She might seem more like a Mia or Emmie than an Ella or vice versa.

We named our DD Talya and said that we would call her Tali. Nope, never happened. DS1 couldn't say Talya or Tali but started calling her Taya which got shortened to Tai or Tai-Tai. Occasionally she is called Tals, but usually just looks at us with scorn (she's nearly 11.)

  • It doesn't matter what nickname you choose, you will call her something else :) My boys get called everything except their names...pumpkin, stinky butt, red, etc.
