when can an ultrasound detect the baby's gender?

I am 10 weeks and can't wait to find out if it is a girl or a boy! I know I have to wait a little longer, but when did you ladies know for sure?

  • 15-22 weeks depending on the size of the mom and the position of the baby. Almost there!

  • Between 15 and 20 weeks your doctor will be able to tell their is also a gender test you can do at home but it's prob a waste of money...not sure if its reliable.
