How long should I giver her to respond to my email before I call her?

I emailed my landlord about possibly moving us to a downstairs apartment because the neighbors below us have been complaining about our noise. How long should I give her to respond before I try reaching her by phone?

  • At least 24 hours. Everyone is not on their email right away.

  • I agree, I would call her, I probably would have called to start with rather than email, but maybe that's how she prefers you to contact her.

  • I would have called her 1st but then I would just say I emailed you to let you know this and I was wondering if you had a chance to read my email and was wondering what you thought and take it from there
