  • lol It has to get pretty cold out! I probably won't turn it on for awhile....Usually if I wake up in the morning and it's in the 50's in the house, we turn it on!

  • I like my house around 60-65 all year... Until it falls below 55 or so I don't turn on the heat... If you're cold, put on a sweater...

  • Usually we put it on when the thermostat inside reads 65 degrees in the morning when we wake. Then I will set it to 67.

  • Usually sometime in Late October - November. Day temps hit the low 60s and the nights in the low 40s/30s and the house temp drops below 65....

  • I haven't turned on the furnace once in the past five years. This last winter the night temps were down in the low 20s here in SC and we did use a small space heater (we were in a camper withOUT a furnace lol).

I wish I could say the same about the AC over the summer ... can't live without that.

We much prefer cool/cold temps, especially to sleep.

  • Cold. 30s outside in the daytime cold. If the house temperature is below 50ish, I turn the heat on. We have great tolerance for cold.
