What are you getting your kids for Christmas (or plan/hope to)?

With the exception of clothes of course (in my case)!

My son loves my digital camera (of course it's not something I want him playing with), so I would love to get him a toddler camera that he can play around with. Nothing too expensive however.

He also loves robots and has taken a fascination to castles here lately, so something along those lines (robot toy, but not sure what on the castle end--I don't want something that comes in a thousand pieces that will get lost).

A fireman helmet, because he likes to play that too. I'm so tempted to buy a fireman costume for him (which comes with a helmet) and save it for Christmas (he has his Halloween costume already).

But at this rate, I'll be lucky to get him one of those this Christmas.

Anyway, what about you?

  • FYI- they have fireman helmets at Dollar Tree!  Also, there is a cute Little People Castle (saw it at Toys R Us) with just a few pieces, including a plastic rock and catapult

My 14 year old has mentioned wanting some sort of tablet that she can draw on that will show up on the computer screen, and I plan to look into that for her. She's also talked about wanting a bow & arrow, but I don't know about that (not really my department, so I'll see what my husband thinks). I'm thinking I will also try to find either a book or a CD that teaches Japanese since she always watches Anime with English subtitles.

My 3 year old girl will likely get a bicycle, a piggy bank, and maybe a doll house. My 3 year old boy will likely get a bicycle, a piggy bank, and either a tool bench or the Toy Story Imaginext set with the crane.
