I have an incredible tooth ache and I am five months pregnant. Do you think its worth a trip to the emergency room. I do I just have to live with pain?? Is there anything safe to take?????

  • ER perhaps not unless u have a fever or foul smelling discharge/breath

    emergency dentist though, heck yeah. an oral infection may not be entirely filtered by the placenta.

    PS they likely would give u something for pain if it's crazy bad, since your pain could create blood pressure spikes bad 4 baby

  • A visit to a dentist would be your best bet. They shouldn't have a problem seeing you just because your pregnant. Its important for pregnant women to go to the dentist as well because pregnancy can do a number to teeth just like any other part of the body.
