Is jumping on one of those little exersize trampolines really good exersize?

My dh got one for our dd to play on, at a yard sale and I have been jumping on it a little, it doesn't feel like good exersize, it's not tireing and nothing hurts. How many calories do you think they burn?

  • Sure it is - jump on it for an hour straight, without stopping, and see how you feel in the morning. Haha. But really, trampoline jumping in general is great because it requires you to use your legs AND your core to steady yourself.

  • i heard it is really good for your lymphatic system, which would be very good for your overall health.

That might explain why my 11 year old is pretty healthy. He's on his all the time.

  • Its a cardio workout like jumping rope, but probably easier on your knees. That would be perfect to use to combine with a strength training routine and use it as a circuit. Do some weights, jump on the trampoline to get your heart rate up, do some more weights -
