What age are you supposed to start flossing your child’s teeth?

  • When they have them all is what my dentist told me today. So I guess around age 2. I am supposed to be flossing my 4 yr olds every night although I admit I don't always do it.

  • As soon as there aren't gaps between their teeth anymore. Once they grow together then it is time to start flossing.

  • when my 4 year old and 2 year old went, they said i should have already been flossing.... i'm thinking that once food is likely to get stuck between the gaps, then it's time.
