  • Care for what? Her belly button? If it has healed and all dry ,no oozing, that is all...it is done. The cord can be tossed....don't have to care for it once it falls off. LOL.
I am not sure what you mean?

  • Oh I forgot, this is what i was told to do once my niece's cord fell off. Once your baby's cord has fallen off, you may notice a small pinkish area in the bottom of his/her belly button, which does not look like the rest of his skin. This is to be expected. Within a day or two normal skin will grow over it.

  • gertie--not everyone knows the process and when it ends......after my dd's fell off there was still some brownish crusty stuff there for about a week so if there is anything left just keep putting alcohol on it to dry it out but if it looks clean and like a normal bellybutton then thats it!...now the bath time fun begins!! careful!! they turn into slippery little eels!! : )
