We work into solutions. It's very very slow. Just recently it's hit the top rung. Their is not excuse for some child that is growing into teenage years to not put their own plate into the sink and "even" rinse .... imagine that.
For starters here, if they are acting out, I usually say...."is their a reason why you are acting in that manner?" If they are explicitly saying ''no, their is not particular reason for it, sorry'', than we put forth the write down 20-30 - , 100 times to .... blah blah...., whatever.
Just for another starter is the boundary. We set it this year by keeping things that they like most, and grounding them from that thing...(toy,game,time outside, or .....(??)
