How old was your kid when they started school?

My daughter is two and I have a friend whose daughter is about three months younger than my daughter and she just started "school." I'm like, "She's not even two yet, how is she in school?" I'm thinking it's just a daycare and she's calling it school, but it just kind of confused me.

  • At 2 it is likely a 2 or 3 hour socialization, play experience. My daughter went to a 2 day a week "Mother's Day Ourt" at church when she was just under 3. Definitely lots of fun and not a daycare.

  • My son will be in preschool at 3 in a special program for special needs kids, my daughter probably won't start until she is 4.
