Why does non-dairy creamer have milk in it?

I am trying to go dairy free on top of already being gluten free. And I was looking at the non-dairy creamers (for my coffee) and they list in their ingredients contains milk....huh?

  • don't light a match near that non dairy creamer. it either is or is almost the most flammable substance on the planet
