Is there a song you used to hate but now love?

I could not stand "Groove Is In The Heart" by Dee-lite or "I Melt With You" by the English Beat when they were out (so many years ago--I'm soooo old, LOL), but now they are two of my favorite songs.

What about you?

  • Nope. Still love the ones that I've always loved and still hate the ones that I have always hated.

  • Oh yes, a lot of them. In the 90's, a lot of the alternative music that was played on our local stations was too "soft" for me--I liked it a little edgier and angrier. Now I hear those songs on the "retro" shows (god I'm getting old) and I actually like many of them. Examples: "Send Me On My Way" by Rusted Root, pretty much anything by the Gin Blossoms or Counting Crows.

  • No. There are way to many new and worthwile song genres to listen to now.
