  • You can lose your plug weeks before labor starting. I lost mine at 37 weeks. Was induced at 39.

  • I didn't really have any. My contractions had changed and were feeling stronger for a few days before I went into labor... I lost the mucus plug in bits over three days before I went into labor, though I wasn't sure that's what it was until later. Then I woke up with strong contractions. I went to bed that night thinking it was gonna be a while lol. WRONG :p

  • there weren't any. I lost my plug in the two days before, but that can happen awhile before. then, contractions started. as far as I know, contractions or water breaking are the main signs of labor. you can loose your plug (or parts of it) weeks before and dialate weeks before.

  • I was just seriously uncomfortable in the hours before I gave birth! I couldn't sit for more than a few minutes, reminded me of a female dog getting ready to have puppies, lol! I was having contractions and dilating (without feeling anything at all) and my mucous plug came out two weeks before I gave birth, so it's not really a good judge of when labor will start as everyone is different!

  • None, before I started having contractions. I lost my plug a week before I went into labor. I did have a feeling all day that it was going to be the day I went into labor, but I was 4 days overdue at that point, so my odds were pretty good.
