So we don't add salt to food if preparing some for baby, but small amounts of spices are ok, so can we use pepper?

ground black pepper to be specific?

  • If your baby likes it and it doesn't make him/her sick, it's just fine! It's really important to let them taste what the grownups are having and expose them to new foods. You may make it a little milder than yours, but it doesn't need to be completely bland.

  • Yes black pepper is ok as long as you only use a little and your baby likes it ok. You can always seperate out a little of the food from the main portion to keep it milder for baby.
