Question about divorced dads.

So...we are going through a divorce and my soon to be ex-husband is acting like our kids don't exist. He makes plans with them and then cancels, and doesn't spend time or take time to do anything with them anymore. If he's doing this now...will he even make time for them when we are divorced?

  • He might or might not come around. All you can do is wait and see.

  • It depends on the dad and how important the kids were before hand. My ex has always held himself above all else. He still does and sees our son only 4 days a month. Doesn't call to check on him or anything. My son already knows how he is and its easier for him that his dad doesn't really get involved. He has an awesome step-dad now.

  • Was he a hands-on dad before the divorce?

  • I hate to say it, but this is probably a scene of what is to come.
