  • I've never gotten a flu shot and never got the flu. I guess I'm lucky. I was debating last year with the H1N1 thing to get it or not... I still never went. Still ok!

  • Yes. I work in heathcare, I'm a pediatrics nurse and I am exposed on a daily bases during flu season... and to prevent spreading it I get a flu shot every year. if I wasn't exposed I probably wouldn't get it.

  • Nope. Neither will my boys. Never had it and never got the flu. Neither have my boys. And I'm definitely not going to experiment with it while I'm pregnant.

  • My boys get them due to health reasons. One has moderate/severe asthma, and the other one has a genetic condition that makes it difficult to gain weight. Even a cold can cause such a huge weight loss. I only get the flu shot for myself when I am pregnant. I lost my first pregnancy in second trmester do to a 105 degree temp from true influenza. After that I educated myself on it and also learned that when I pregnant woman aquires influenza while pregnant it increases her child risks of schizophenia later in life. So I am now a huge advocate of flu shots for pregnant women. But since I am not pregnant, don't have asthma, or any other major medical issue, I will NOT be gettin the flue shot this year
