I got the wrong test!

Yeah go me! I saw the little pink box grabbed it and ran But I didn't see that it was for ovulation and not a pregnancy test . So what the hell, I took it and im not ovulating ............. this is a long shot but could that tell me im prego or not . Im going to get a real test............ but was just wondering Im just so excited to find out!

  • No, that tells you in you are ovulating only. Not if you are pregnant.

  • i'd have to say there is no way they could tell you if you are preggo, unless you took them every day for a month and you never ovulate... i'd keep them and use them next month if you are not pregnant already

  • OPKs do pick up hcg, so yes, they can show as being positive for pregnancy.  But, they're not  accurate for use as a pregnancy test.  hCG and LH look like the same thing to an OPK.  Read this article, it explains it better than I can: http://www.peeonastick.com/opkhpt.html

  • They don't tel you if you are pregnant, you only ovulate for a few days a month... Wishing you best!
