  • it could be a bloody show and be starting labor if in the third trimester
    it could be a miscarriage if in the first trimester

  • Most of the time its not really your period its just bleeding (there is difference) and that does happen to some women in thier first timester. Call your doc or a help line if your concerned.

  • You dont have an actual period when you are pregnant. You can bleed while pregnant. Its not the same thing although women still will insist on calling it a "period". If you had an actual period while pregnant you wouldnt be pregnant anymore. Having a real menstrual period means your entire uterine lining sheds. If that happens there is no place for the baby to attach to. If you know for certain you are pregnant & you are bleeding at all you need to contact your doctor.
