How long should it take for me to get my period after I stop nursing?

I stop nursing when my daughter was 4 months. It has been at least 5 weeks.

  • I stopped nursing my daughter 4-6 weeks ago, I don't remember for sure. I just got my first ppaf today..

  • i dont know what a ppaf is but... i think you will start your period in a month or two after you stop nursing. sorry not sure.

  • It took me 3 months after I stopped nursing. I don't know if it makes a difference on how long you breastfed. I nursed for 8-11 months with my girls.

  • It can really vary, and it can take a while. Assume you are fertile now for BC purposes.

  • I'm still breastfeeding and got my first period 2 months ago, 5 months after baby was born. So it really can vary!
