What does it mean when a comment says bump?

  • It means that maybe someone else can answer quicker, you may or may not have answered.

  • A bump means someone doesn't have an answer for you so they bump your post to the top of the pile in the hopes it gets an answer. Most people use the bump button, but you can also bump by answering and saying bump. But answering and saying bump only works in groups. Doing that in answers won't make it go to the top of the pile. Only clicking the bump button will.
