  • oh yes!!! but only takes it when he is ready to go down for a nap or bed at night time

  • Yes. She only uses it for naps and bedtime and car trips longer than one hour now. We took it away, other than the previously mentioned times, at around 6 months.

  • None of my 3 sons did or my grandson. Breastfed.

  • My first did, and still does for sleeping at 3 years, but seems like he's about ready to be done with it.

My second never took a paci but started sucking her thumb at 4 months, and now only does it when she's tired at 17 months.

  • Mine didn't, because the nurses in the NICU said it would be harder for him to breastfeed.

Answer by WomanWitty at 10:56 PM on Sep. 28, 2010

  • I didn't want him to because I was breastfeeding, but the first time the nurses in the hospital brought him back to me he had one, so I let him have it for a few months. After awhile he just started spitting it out and didn't want it anymore, so I was happy that taking it away wasn't a battle!
