My daughters cheeks are red. She is 3.5 months old.

I have heard of Fifth's disease so I am scared she may have that because of her red cheeks. She is otherwise fine. Does anyone know the symptoms and what I should be looking for? Or any other suggestions of what it could be?

  • Its called "teething cheeks"... as soon as the teeth start to hit thru the gum they will get red cheeks. of course not every baby does. But mine does that too. Once she woke up with one red cheek and i was scared, because i didnt know what it was. so i called my mom: "honey check her mouth, she got a teeth".. mom was right :D

  • Teething can cause red cheeks. My sister started teething at 3 months. She could also just be overheated.

  • I will have to check her mouth. Wow, that would be crazy. My niece didn't get her first tooth until she was 1.
