very gassy

My nephew is 3 months old and screams in pain and spits up a lot, they thought he had acid refulx but hgve decided that is not the issue since the meds didn't work,he is allergic to gas drops what can they do???

  • I'd have them contact his pediatrician for options.

  • Is he breastfed or formula fed? If it's formula, he could be sensitive to the type of formula he's being given. Perhaps he needs to be switched to a soy-based type... it's definitely something I could consult a pediatrician about.

  • Try gripe water, It's an herbal sup. for the same symptoms. It works great for my son and his acid reflux when the drops do nothing.
