Need some advice - daughter has a rash? adult content

Down there. I just noticed this morning she has like a really thin but very red ring around her ya know. It doesn't seem to bother her that much, though it seems like it could be itchy (seen her scratching a couple of times) but it is really really red! If anyone has any advice, I'd sure appreciate it. Can't get her into the dr's today :(

Thank you!

  • hop old is she?

  • It could be that she isn't wiping her vulva very well after peeing. Or she is having bladder control issues.
It could be an allergy. Have you changed detergent, softener, toilet paper, soap?

  • How old is she? with my girls our pedi recommended Bag balm its actually for cows utters when they dry out but our pediatrition said that what he uses on his kids and its cheaped and works really good.

  • I'd put some cream like Balmex or Desitin on it. If it doesn't go away after a couple of days, then contact her pediatrician. Good luck!

  • One let her get some air, meaning run around in a long t-shirt with out undies...

If she is a toddler that is fine too, just be prepared for the clean up but time would be right after changing her.

Then desitine, i swore by it, it sound like a little rash-from the diaper or when she pottys she is not drying her self well. Give it a day or two and it should be gone...

If that does not work call the doctor, actually call today make them aware of what you are doing and see if you can schedule and appointment for 2 days if it goes a way call and cancel but in ample time... Good luck!!!!

  • Desitin! Its the only thing that worked when DD had a rash. Has she been on antibiotics recently? It could be a yeast infection if she had taken antibiotics recently

  • DD is not quite 2 1/2. Thanks for the advice, ladies, much appreciated.

  • probably a diaper like rash.

A little vaseline and corn starch.

  • either diaper rash or a yeast infection... let her run around naked for a while, wash well, and use a diaper creame at night... if it's still there in 2 days, take her to the dr...
