skin care during pregnancy?

I usually have mild breakouts, but whew! Getting pregnant, and having my hormones effected so much.. my skin is HORRIBLE! even my back/shoulders now. :/ What can I use on my face?? Right now all I use is cetaphil and Aveeno SPF moisturizer. I know you're not supposed to use anything w/benzol peroxide or sacylic acid, so as soon as I learned I was preggo I stopped using those.
I only use mineral makeup, and that's usually only once or twice a week now so I can let my skin breathe. (Oh, and my skin is dry too.) :/

  • you can read my journal post about home remedies, also arbonne makes pure, safe products for the entire family and all skin types. mineral makeup can sometimes make acne worse, especially when hormones get involved so you may want to consider switching while pregnant.

  • Oh, yeah, I should clarify, it would have to be affordable. lol. No arbonne for me! ;) We're not working right now, so money is tight.

  • oh well then the homemade stuff should be right up your alley... and not to argue but many of arbonne's items start at $10
