i dont have any friendscan i still do this.need help getting homeschool books

  • you can try freecycle. Its a yahoo group they have them all over the US and you can request things like that and if anyone has them lying around they can give them to you. People also offer their things on there. It is great. I will be watching this question to see if anyone has any better answers cause I sure could use help too! :)

  • There are lots of homeschooling groups here on cafemom and I know alot of the moms are always selling or giving away their homeschooling books and materials. Also, check on craigslist, ebay and your local homeschooling co-ops.

  • Look for a local homeschool group first. Get to know people who are going through this. From there you will get an idea of what you want curriculum wise since there are so many choices out there! If you need more info, feel free to contact me :)

  • Try calling the schools talking to teachers and see what they are going to throw away at the end of the year or ask to borrow books from the schools. I have some if you need some or I could ask around.
