2 Bumps

Is it normal to feel the baby kick in more than one place at the same time?

I am almost 25 weeks pregnant with my first child and sometimes I will feel him in two places at once. Like on my lower left side and on my upper right side. Is this okay? I ask because I have another friend who just gave birth a week ago and told me that she would always feel her baby move in just one location.

  • Normal. Babies have 4 limbs so that is 2 punches and 2 kicks at a time. Not to mention the hip shakes and head bangs.

  • Your baby has 4 limbs, they can punch just as well as kick.

  • Every one is different and your baby moves more than just feet and it is good your baby is active.

  • They have two feet, two arms, a head, a butt, etc. They don't just kick, they bunch, they booty bump, they roll, they head nudge, they do just about everything you can think of to do in a small space. So yes, you can feel them in two places at once. Some babies are quieter then others and don't move all that much, whereas others are jazzersizing in the belly.
