Do you know anybody who writes scripts for scary movies or tv series?

Everytime I see something creepy on TV I can't help to think: "Somebody must have thought of that first." Or worse; it's based on a true story. Anyway ... I was wondering to what extent a person can produce sick mindwork and still be/ act normal. Or does it show straight away?

  • I have a old freind who writes horror novels. Twisted, scary, vivid horror novels, and I think it definately takes a certain person with a certain personality to write this stuff. He is normal in some ways , but much more twisted in personality than other people. It is a bit unerving to me when a person is so comfortably entertained by gory, bloody, sick hanous stuff. I do notice that people who love this sort of entertainment and even find it humorous, have other problems in thier lives as well.
