What special Treat/Dessert do you make for Thanksgiving every year??

  • i don't. for the last 10 years, i supported a local private school's holiday pie-fundraiser. i bought them, sold them, and delivered them.
    and i didn't have kids in that school, either!
    now that we've moved away, i am still involved, though not to the extent of selling to my clients/delivering..i will still purchase, and i've passed the contact info. to family/friends who do still live in that area.
    we do plenty of cooking, otherwise. dessert is too simple this way!

  • Pumpkin Pie of course. I use the Bisquick Impossible Pumpkin Pie recipe.

  • Pumpkin pie or carrot cake that seems to be the only times I make them is Thanksgiving and Christmas

  • Sweet Potato Casserole with pecan/brown sugar crunch top. So much better than candied yams with marshmallows.
