What's the difference between credits, core credits, and extra credits?

  • Credits are the total amount earned.

    Core are the ones you get for answering, voting or asking.

    Extra credits are ones you get when someone votes you up, bumps your question or picks you as best answer.

  • Core credits you get by bumping voting up, asking question and answering. Extra credit is your answers being voted up, your question being bumped or getting best answer for a question.

  • Credits are what you've earned so far. Core credits are the total points you are eligiable to earn in one day. Extra credit is points you get for best answers, bumps and vote ups.
