What is the best brand of diaper rash cream/treatment?

  • A bare bottom is usually the best. Let it air out as much as possible. When the diaper has to be put on I use A&D.

  • I always used balmex. My fav. if it was yeast then Nystain cream. Good luck with baby:o)

  • I loved Budreaux's Butt Cream (not sure of the spelling). It was amazing for my dd.

  • depends on the rash. usually just plain ol' aquaphor works for my daughter. yeast rashes, however, need medicated cream. desatin works well too.

  • use olive oil and then any type of diaper cream on top. Sounds crazy, but works like a charm.

  • Budreaux's Butt Cream works better then anything else i have ever tryied. second to that would be desitine over night cream...

  • anything with a high % of zinc oxide works best because it does not get washed/rubbed off in their diaper and seems to protect the sensitive area while it heals. Try Dirty Baby natural diaper cream. It has the same zinc level as desitn (40%), but is natural and does not have a strong odor. You can get it at Giggleoutfitter.com
