Need help with 5 y/o homework!?!

So, my daughter is in dual language. She learns in English and Spanish at her public school. I do know the basics of Spanish but, I am getting "el" and "la" mixed up. Like when am I supposed to use them, I am confused. So, do you know any websites that have sentence structure exampled clearly? Or can someone make me a chart. Thanks!
