Have you ever used a skill you learned from watching TV?

For example somebody drops dead on the street and it just so happens you saw a program on CPR the other day.
Or you save you camping holiday with some survival trick you've seen on Discovery Channel.

  • I have used a number of the clothes-picking and shopping tips I learned on What Not To Wear. Clinton and Stacey really know their business!

  • I mostly watch food network and hgtv so yeah, I use what I watch all the time. I wouldn't go by what I've seen on TV to try and save a life or anything (I take CPR classes for that) but some of it can be helpful.
