Anyone out there have a child that has allergies to artificial colors and preservatives?

  • My son doesn't have an allergy per se, but we found that artificial colors and preservatives definitely increased his ADHD behavior when he was young. Now he's 15.5 and it doesn't seem to matter as much.

  • i don't but my mom's friend has a grandson who can't use anything with red dye in it. that includes any form of soap and food.

  • Mine changes into a crazy person when he eats red dye #40...his gets emotional, cranky, violent...

  • No, but I can imagine it is hard to find anything except fresh foods that don't have one other other in it. Good luck to you.

  • No lucky but we did have a time where we thought she was going to have allergies just so happens it was something that I ate.

  • yup. We don't allow artificials, HFCS, anything with excessive sugars.

  • yes my dd is allergic to dyes, and any thing that grows from the ground.....
