How often does your 2yr old go poop? I swear my son goes poop like 5 times a day. He has an appointment on Monday with his Ped for just a general check up, Im not sure if this is something I should be concerned about.

  • mine three
and in the last year 2-3 yr old
she usually goes once a day in afternoon
sometimes twice ( especially if she did not go day before)
some days she does not go- usually when traveling, a day or two at the grandparents house, will case her to skip a day

  • sounds like 5 a lot
    is it runny?
if so maybe too much juice?

  • it could be one of 2 things. it could be that that's just his normal pattern of movements, or it could be that his body is not absorbing what he needs. a stool sample will tell

  • Glenn has a big one every two days... his doctor said he should be going once a day. I would ask your child's pedi again and ask them if they will analyze a sample to see if kiddo is okay.

  • Logan varies. It is always at least once a day, but it can be up to 5. But on average 2x a day... depends on his diet that day.

  • Sometimes its runny, but most of the time it isn't. He gets juice less than once a day (diluted) and he usually gets water to drink any other time. I guess I will add it to the things to talk to the doctor about (new doctor as we just moved 2.5 months ago).
